Skiathos
The Name comes from Skia (shadow) and Athos (the Holly mountain in Chalkidiki where only male monks live). On a clear day, the holly mountain of Athos casts it’s shadow, on this blessed Island. The Island where green stops, only where the blue begins. From the clear blue skies to the bright green pine forests to the nice blue sea. Your eyes don’t know where stop to admire first.

In addition Skiathos has also been the birthplace of the two Alexanders, Papadiamantis and Moraitidis the incredibly talented writers who will be admired for there skill and foresight until the end of times.
